Could you go on a fashion diet?

I'm not sure how I came across this article in the New York Times - but I haven't stopped thinking what a great idea it is. Doesn't matter what your budget is (whether it's New Look or Chanel) we're all guilty of buying too many clothes (because of that giddy new clothes feeling) yet not making the most of what's already in our wardrobe. The clever ladies behind this website Six Items Or Less thought the same and set a challenge for women to pick 6 key pieces from their wardrobe and wear ONLY those clothes for an entire month. Before you freak out - you can still wear as many different accessories as you like to change your look. Interestingly most of the feedback was that none of their friends and colleagues noticed they were wearing the same thing. It actually encouraged creativity in how you wear your clothes (like layering a tshirt over a dress, changing your look with different belts, shoes and jewellery). Do you think you could take the challenge? I think the hardest part would be to select the 6 pieces. Would you give it a go?
