A very important date with Alice in Wonderland

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2010

On Saturday I was invited by the lovely people at Disney to a tea party and private screening of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland hosted by Alice Temperley at the gorgeous Soho Hotel.  Next month my Anna Lou of London for Disney collection will be launched and it was a chance to give the top fashion press and fashionistas alike a sneak peek of the collection, alongside other Alice in Wonderland collaborations by Stella McCartney, Tom Binns and of course the Alice by Alice Temperley range that too was inspired by Lewis Carroll's heroine.

One of the first to pop in was the adorable Fearne Cotton who has been wearing Anna Lou since I began at Portobello markets. She's got her eye on the gold key necklace and the deck of cards silver chain necklace (come and visit the blog tomorrow for a preview of the collection). Also having a nosey at the range was the heir to Kate Moss' wardrobe, the lovely Lila who was there with her father (and the coolest man in the world), Jefferson Hack. Lila was putting Suri Cruise in shame by looking as cute as a button in her Alice in Wonderland costume.

And the film! I can't wait for you all to see it. It was simply magical and reminded me of one of my favourite quotes from the book, "Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
